During the night, the Southern Defense Forces successfully intercepted and shot down all 8 drones of the "Shahed-131/136" type that the Russians had sent over the waters of the Black Sea towards the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.
"Defenders of the sky from the air command 'South,' a group of various forces of the Navy and Air Force, among other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed seven drones in the Odessa region and one in the Mykolaiv region," said the channel administrators.
Debris from one of the downed drones caused a fire in the Odessa region. Firefighters managed to extinguish it, and there were no casualties.
"The debris from one of the downed UAVs fell in an open area of the Odessa region, causing a fire. The fire was promptly extinguished. There is no damage or casualties," stated the channel.
