The Ukrainian brand Oliz has released a mini-capsule dedicated to cultural figures of the Sixties and the Executed Renaissance.
The black and white silk scarves are available in two sizes – 100 by 100 centimeters and 65 by 65 centimeters. The scarf with portraits is designed in the style of a vintage newspaper, featuring black and white yellowed portraits of Vasyl Stus, Valerian Pidmohylny, Alla Horska, Les Kurbas, and Vasyl Symonenko. The print for the second scarf includes verses and excerpts from the works of the artists.
The collection was created in collaboration with Kyiv-based artist Nadia Khart.
The scarf prints reproduce portraits that the artist painted with ink on archival paper. All of them were presented at the artist's exhibition "In Your Name" at the Sixties Museum in the spring of this year.
Nadia Khart created these works during 2022-2023 in response to the war crimes of Russia against Ukrainian culture in the occupied territories.
