As part of the defense cluster by Brave1 in Ukraine, they have developed the remotely controlled demining complex called Ratel Deminer.

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

Ratel Deminer is a mine-clearing system designed to detect and neutralize anti-personnel mines. It operates remotely, thus preserving the lives of military personnel.

The system is equipped with a daylight camera to facilitate better control. Ratel Deminer can destroy mines such as PFM-1, PMN-4, PMN-3, and PMN-2.

Developers have already conducted tests of Ratel Deminer in real conditions, using the system for humanitarian demining of anti-personnel mines near Sviatohirsk in Donetsk Oblast.

Ratel Deminer has been designated as BRV1, indicating that its development has been prioritized for the security and defense forces. Currently, the system is being further refined and its capabilities are being expanded.

This is not the first development from this manufacturer to undergo the process at Brave1. Ground-based robots Ratel S and Ratel M have been codified and are actively used in the military.
