The Russian forces attempted to attack the Odessa region in the morning of March 7.
This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
The Russians launched a Kh-31P missile from aircraft of the Black Sea tactical aviation. It did not reach its target.
"The missile lost its combat capability on approach to the coastline. No damage or casualties were reported," the statement said.
The Southern Defense Forces emphasize that the enemy continues the tactic of targeted missile strikes to test and reconnoiter Ukraine's air defense.
