The Russian army hit a residential building in Dnipro with a Kh-22 missile designed to destroy aircraft carriers.

This was reported by the Mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, on Telegram.

"The Russian forces have again struck a residential building with a Kh-22 missile. This weapon is designed to destroy aircraft carriers," the post reads.

Filatov added that this missile has an inertial guidance system and selects a large target in the open ocean: when a squadron of warships is present, it seeks out the largest target, namely an aircraft carrier.

"In any case, using such missiles to shell cities and residential areas is a deliberate war crime," he wrote.

During the night and morning of April 19, Dnipropetrovsk region experienced another mass attack. In Dnipro, there were hits on a residential building and two infrastructure objects. Two people were killed, and 16 were injured.
