The third Patriot surface-to-air missile system, which Germany had previously announced it would send, has arrived in Ukraine.
This was reported by the German Ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Jaeger, in his Twitter post.
"The third Patriot SAM system from Germany has already arrived in Ukraine. It will enhance the protection of the population and the country's infrastructure from aircraft, drones, and missiles," he stated.
The ambassador added that the Ukrainian crew of the system has successfully undergone relevant training in Germany over the past few months.
The Patriot is a powerful surface-to-air missile system that can significantly boost Ukraine's defense capabilities. It is capable of shooting down ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as aircraft, thereby protecting cities and critical infrastructure.
