The most prestigious LVMH Prize among young designers, which is awarded for their talented ideas in the field of design, announced the semi-finalists of 2023, the list of which included the former fashion director of Ukrainian Vogue and the founder of the upcycling brand Bettter, Yulia Pelipas.
"It is a source of great pride for all of us to see that the prize is now an essential vehicle for identifying and highlighting creative talent all over the world," said Delphine Arnault, the initiator of the award and chief talent scout of the conglomerate LVMH. "We are also very happy to welcome a Ukrainian candidate, Julie Pelipas, with her upcycling brand Bettter, among the 22 semifinalists".
During Fashion Week, all finalists will gather on March 2nd and 3rd in Paris to present their collections to the press and an expert jury. The winner of the LVMH Prize will receive â¬300,000 to develop their fashion business and support the conglomerate's team in areas such as marketing, PR, environmental development, production, finance, and law.
