Within the fruitful collaboration between the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market (NCSSM) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), a significant step has been taken to inform investors worldwide about suspicious investment projects identified in Ukraine.

The list of dubious investment projects, compiled by the Commission over many years, is now available on the official IOSCO website under the Investor Alerts Portal section.

This initiative aims to enhance transparency in the financial system and protect investors from illegitimate activities. It targets companies operating without proper permits or licenses to provide investment services in the relevant jurisdiction, as well as those unlawfully using the names of legitimate firms and claiming affiliations without substantiated grounds.

Irakliy Baramia, a Commission Member, stated, "This step expands the boundaries of information security and safeguards potential investors worldwide from possible financial fraudulent schemes. This initiative is highly effective not only for Ukrainians but also for IOSCO members. Information exchange with international colleagues and timely communication are key to creating a secure investment environment."

As a member of IOSCO since 1996, the Commission is committed to actively cooperating with international partners and incorporating IOSCO's basic principles and recommendations, along with those of the International Monetary Fund, into Ukrainian legislation, thereby promoting investor rights protection.
