Venture firm ZAS Ventures has invested in the startup CloudAvocado, founded by Ukrainians Andrii Piskhuk and Oleksandr Tolochko. The funds raised will be used to strengthen the business development and marketing aspects of the company.

CloudAvocado offers a tool that enables cost management for AWS cloud.

"Our solution helps FinOps/DevOps ensure that managing AWS Cloud resources costs you as little as possible. In fact, you can save up to 70% of current expenses and recoup your investment within the first month," according to the startup's description.

Cloud Avocado provides real-time insights like CloudHealth and reflects the actual efficiency of using cloud assets, planning the work of all resources.

The project was officially launched in Lviv in 2021, and its team currently consists of seven people. The startup is not actively seeking additional funding at the moment but may revisit the issue in the future.

This marks ZAS Ventures' second $50,000 investment; the venture firm previously invested in the Ukrainian startup Fintellect, which develops financial applications for businesses.
