Three projects by Ukrainian studios have made it to the longlist for the best interiors at the Dezeen Awards 2024.

Lviv’s “Cukiernia (Candyshop)” is competing in the Restaurant and Bar Interior category with a redesign by Yod Group. The studio radically transformed the interior while preserving the essence of the original space and used unusual materials, including bio-plaster made from eggshells.

In the Health and Well-being Interior category, the minimalist interior of the Kyiv-based yoga studio “Stan” by Dubrovska Studio is featured. The main concept of the space focused on repurposing existing elements and local resources.

Also competing in this category is the family home “Dacha” designed by Makhno Studio for families with seriously ill children. Its interior is simple and functional, with a cozy meeting room and a vibrant office decorated in a dominant palette of white and terracotta, with sunny yellow accents in the children’s areas.
