The Japanese translations of "On The Move" from the creative workshop "Ahrafka" and "Yellow Butterfly" by Oleksandr Shatokhin have made it to the prestigious Ehon 50 list — a list of children's illustrated books in Japanese. This was reported on the website of the Japanese National School Library Association.
The publication of Roman Romanyshyn and Andriy Lesiv's "On The Move" from the creative workshop Ahrafka was printed by the Japanese publisher Bronze Publishing. The Japanese translation of the book was done by Yukiko Hiromatsu.
The book was first published by Old Lion Publishing in 2020. The publication tells about movement and journeys: not only of people but also of animals, plants, wind, water, and planets.
In addition to Japanese, the publication has been translated into 14 other languages ââof the world.
The publication of "Yellow Butterfly" by Oleksandr Shatokhin was printed by the Japanese publisher Kodansha LTD.
In this "silent book," a girl, escaping from "constraints and slavery," encounters butterflies and finds hope in them.
