The Brave1 cluster carried out the first of three large-scale tests of strike drones of the aircraft type.

This was announced on Facebook by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development — Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

He noted that many of the developments demonstrated the ability to cover distances over 40 kilometers and accurately simulate an approach to the target.

“This is another step toward creating a deep kill zone behind enemy lines. We are building a system that will prevent the enemy from accumulating resources, delivering equipment, or deploying air defense systems,” the deputy prime minister stated.

According to Fedorov, unmanned aircraft will become the main tool for destroying the logistics, warehouses, and equipment of Russian invaders.

Each innovation in Brave1 is developed using a systematic approach: analyzing military requests, formulating requirements for solutions, and involving not only drone manufacturers but also developers of engines, communications, antennas, and software, including AI-based technologies.

After the first test, participating teams will receive feedback in the secure Brave1 Chat and improve their solutions ahead of the next testing ground.

Fedorov emphasized that modern technological warfare sets new standards for victory.

“Drones are one of the key tools in the fight against the enemy, which is why within the Brave1 military innovation cluster, we are constantly creating solutions that change the battlefield situation,” he said.

The deputy prime minister expressed gratitude to the Security and Defense Forces for holding the front line and to developers for the rapid implementation of battlefield technologies.
