The European Union has published an annual report on the implementation of the Association Agreement by Ukraine. The report notes progress in a number of areas. The document covers the period from December 1, 2020, till the start of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
Ukraine has made the most significant progress in the areas of digital transformation and energy.
In particular, in the direction of digital transformation, Ukraine adopted the law on the telecommunications regulator, which was an important step in bringing the legislation closer to the corresponding law in the EU. Also, Ukraine became one of the first countries whose digital COVID-19 certificate was recognized by the EU. The report states that the digital transformation of Ukraine contributes to more efficient and transparent governance and the fight against corruption.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is grateful to the EU for the high evaluation of activities in the direction of digital transformations.
We will continue, despite the full-scale war, to launch new digital services and transform Ukraine into the most convenient state in the world.
