Ukraine has received $190 million for recovery initiatives under the joint DRIVE project with the World Bank.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

The goal of the project is to create resilient infrastructure under challenging conditions.

“The financing comes in the form of a loan from the IBRD, supported by the Government of Japan, and will be directed toward infrastructure modernization, bridge restoration, improvements to the transportation system, and the development of the road sector,” Shmyhal stated.

He expressed gratitude to the World Bank and the Government of Japan for their consistent support of Ukraine amid the full-scale war.
