The Ukrainian passport has secured the 32nd position in the international Passport Index by Henley & Partners, according to updated data from the Index.

Owners of Ukrainian passports can travel visa-free or obtain a visa upon arrival in 148 countries. Ukraine shares the 32nd position with Grenada and Saint Lucia in the Caribbean Sea.

"Ukraine is among the top 5 countries with the greatest improvement in ranking over the last 10 years (net overall gain of 21 positions). It has risen two more positions over the past year," the company added.

The first place is shared by France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain (194 countries). Afghanistan ranks last in the index (28 countries).

Henley & Partners Passport Index quarterly analyzes visa rules for 227 countries and territories worldwide, categorizing them by the number of countries offering visa-free entry. The ranking has been compiled for over 10 years in collaboration with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world's largest tourism information database.
