Ukraine continues to receive telemedicine equipment in the course of humanitarian aid from international partners to ensure uninterrupted access to medical care in the remotest corners of the country.
This time, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Ukraine, Ukraineâs healthcare sector received a medical car and 20 Homedoctor medical robots from the Spanish non-governmental organization âHelp to Ukraineâ.
Using these robots, Ukrainian-speaking doctors of Spain, and later doctors of Ukraine, will be able to remotely examine and consult Ukrainian patients in the most distant regions of the country amid the war.
The meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo López-Aranda Jagu and the founder of the NGO âHelp to Ukraineâ Carlos Fernandez was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health and the State Enterprise âElectronic Healthâ.
âThis is, without exaggeration, an innovative telemedicine platform that has already proved successful in the conditions of martial law when many Ukrainians do not have access to medical care. By using Homedoctor devices, a patient can quickly check basic health parameters â measure temperature, blood pressure, saturation, make an ECG and perform other tests â and the doctor can promptly obtain results of these examinations and make recommendations to the patient. We sincerely thank our partners from âHelp to Ukraine.ESâ, the team of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Ukraine and the Spanish people for supporting Ukrainian healthcare system in difficult times for our country. Your concern and sincere heart save lives,â said Deputy Minister of Health in charge of digital development Mariia Karchevych.
