Ukraine will work with the Netherlands’ largest research institute to develop game-changing technologies for the war, according to Mikhaylo Fedorov.
Expanding cooperation with European partners in research and development is a path to breakthrough innovations for the battlefield. We already have cases where Ukrainian engineers, together with the international scientific community, created technologies that will soon change the course of the war.
Brave1 has signed a memorandum with TNO, the Netherlands’ largest research institute. This is the first international R&D partnership for the cluster.
This is an important step in developing Ukraine’s defense tech ecosystem:
- Thousands of scientists and engineers at TNO work across various fields: AI, countering aerial threats, radar, and UAVs.
- The partnership will focus on bringing in top-level expertise currently lacking in Ukraine, enabling joint R&D projects.
- A dedicated direction will involve testing products and prototypes developed by the institute’s researchers.
"We are confident that such partnerships are essential for our industry to expand capabilities and accelerate the creation of game-changing technologies," wrote Fedorov.
