Ensuring the safety of citizens in Ukraine and Israel from a shared terrorist threat requires the joint efforts of both states.
Ambassador Eugene Korniychuk made this statement during a visit to the northern region of Israel.
"It is difficult to see how the citizens are forced to leave their homes in order to find shelter from the danger of the bombings. Unfortunately, many families in Israel and Ukraine do not feel safe, so we must unite against the terrorism and threats posed by Russia, Iran and their affiliates," said the ambassador.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and representatives of the IDF provided an overview of the current situation in the region.
The head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission expressed solidarity with the citizens of the region.
