Russia has redeployed Kadyrovites to the northern part of the Kharkiv region. Blocking detachments have been formed from them to prevent other Russian army from fleeing the battlefield.
This was reported by Nazar Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Khortytsia operational-strategic group, during a TV marathon.
According to him, the Russians are using the tactic of setting up blocking detachments in the Kharkiv region. These units were formed from the personnel of the "Akhmat" divisions.
He clarified that this was done to ensure that, during the regrouping of forces, the Kadyrovites would restrain other soldiers attempting to flee.
Voloshyn noted that the blocking detachments have been positioned in the border area.
The spokesperson for Khortytsia operational-strategic group reminded that the Russians are also transferring their soldiers to the Kharkiv region from the Kherson region to reinforce units that have been battered by Ukrainian defenders.
It is worth noting that Russian forces continue to conduct military operations in the northern part of the Kharkiv region. Specifically, they control a smaller part of the city of Vovchansk.
As Voloshyn mentioned today, Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters are trying to advance in Vovchansk. They are inflicting losses on the Russian forces.
