The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense noted that in the Kherson region and Crimea, the Russians would defend themselves.
Ukrainian intelligence officers believe that Russian troops will go on the offensive in only three directions. We are talking about Donetsk, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Experts at the Institute for the Study of War believe that the Kremlin has probably overestimated its army's capabilities in the context of a new offensive in Ukraine.
"We have determined that the offensive of the Russian troops may be in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and also, possibly, in Zaporizhzhia. At the same time, Russian troops will conduct the defense in the Kherson region and Crimea," said the message on the website of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
It is noted that Moscow plans to mobilize from 300 to 500 thousand people for an offensive in the east and south of Ukraine in the spring and summer. At the same time, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense believes that the new mobilization of Russians will last up to two months.
At the same time, the implementation of the Kremlin's plans directly depends on the equipment of the Russian reservists, as well as the level, quality, and pace of assisting Ukraine from Western partners.
