All long-range SCALP cruise missiles that France promised to provide to Ukraine as part of the first batch have already been delivered, as announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to France, Vadym Omelchenko.
"This batch was a trial one, and the missiles performed well. SCALP missiles will continue to be supplied. The key question regarding these supplies is their pace, and in this regard, the French have been very cooperative. In general, if you hear statements from President Zelensky or President Macron about France's decision to provide us with some weaponry upon the request of the Ukrainian side, know that it's already in Ukraine and operational on the front lines," he said in an interview with LB.ua.
The Ambassador also mentioned that bilateral sessions for companies from each participating country will take place ahead of the planned Ukrainian Defense Industry Forum.
"There will be two formats. Firstly, there's an international forum where arms manufacturers from around the world will participate. It will take place in October. Secondly, bilateral sessions for companies from each participating country will start before the event. So, the first such seminar is the Ukraine-France session. It will take place at the end of September. Already, 30 French companies working in the defense industry have agreed to participate," Omelchenko explained.
