ZBROYARI: Manufacturing Freedom has attracted over $1.5 billion to the Ukrainian defense industry from international partners.
This was informed by Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin
Nine countries have joined the initiative: Denmark, Canada, the Netherlands, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, the United States, and the European Union. These states allocated either their own budget funds or a percentage of frozen Russian assets.
More than $500 million has been used through the implementation of the 'Danish model.'
"We are grateful to our partners for this support and for their belief in the Ukrainian defense industry. These funds significantly strengthen both the Defense Forces and the Ukrainian economy, allowing us to continue building the "Arsenal of the free world"! wrote Herman Smetanin.
