The Russian side has stated it can transfer 500 Ukrainian prisoners of war this weekend.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a briefing,
"Today our teams held consultations regarding the exchange we agreed on. The Russian side conveyed information that this weekend — on Saturday and Sunday — they will be able to hand over 500 people, 500 of our soldiers from the group of over a thousand we had discussed. So, we will be ready to exchange the corresponding number," Zelensky said.
He added that the Ukrainian side has not yet received the lists.
"I think it's important that this time, unlike during the last Istanbul meeting, we agreed — and I told the minister this before the meeting — and the Russians gave their word that they would provide us with the lists in advance. The lists of whom we are exchanging. That’s important to us. But once again, we haven't received the lists yet, and again there seem to be some excuses. We will insist that the Ukrainian side receive the lists for the exchange," the President said.
