"The only one interested in destabilizing the situation in Israel and, in general, in the Middle East region is simultaneously an enemy of Ukraine," President Volodymyr Zelensky stated.
"We are closely monitoring all the information regarding Israel and the Middle East region and maintaining contacts with partners to prevent the expansion of destabilization. We clearly understand that the only one interested in the worst-case scenario is our enemy," the president said in an evening video address.
The head of state expressed gratitude to everyone worldwide who "makes efforts to prevent the Middle East region from 'exploding' and to hold terrorists accountable for their actions against Israel, their women, children, and ordinary people."
"It is extremely important for everyone in the world, even for those who do not yet understand this, that terrorists always be held accountable for the evil they commit," Zelensky said.
The President of Ukraine also offered his condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones in Israel.
"We also remember the citizens of other countries whom the terrorists have taken hostage or killed. Among the victims, there are Ukrainians as well. My condolences to everyone who has lost loved ones," he added.
