The Inguar-3, a Ukrainian-made armored vehicle, has become a milestone in the development of military technology due to its innovative design, high mobility, and adaptability for a wide range of tasks. The vehicle has already undergone combat trials, demonstrated its effectiveness, and attracted the attention of government contractors. As a result, the first units will be deployed to the front lines in 2025.

"2024 has been a year of equipment testing for our company. In total, the vehicle has undergone about 10,000 km of rigorous tests. Specifically, we conducted combat trials with fighters from the 'Azov' brigade in the Serebriansky forest and in the Sumy direction," said Artem Yushchuk, CEO and co-founder of Inguar Defence. "Feedback from the first combat tests with Azov led to our long-awaited first contract. The first vehicles will appear at the front by the second quarter of 2025."

The Inguar-3 was developed from scratch as a specialized combat platform, designed with the combat experience accumulated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The core concept of the Inguar-3 is modularity. The armored vehicle consists of separate front and rear armored capsules that can be quickly replaced or modified. This allows the vehicle to serve as a universal platform for various types of weaponry and equipment, ranging from anti-tank missile systems to command and control systems and medical modules. The vehicle is equipped with a Deutz engine producing 356 hp and 1500 Nm of torque, as well as an Allison automatic transmission. A high ground clearance of 450 mm and an automatic tire inflation system ensure excellent passability even in the most difficult conditions. RunFlat technology allows the vehicle to keep moving even when the tires are damaged, which is crucial in combat situations.

The armor of the Inguar-3 meets the Stanag 4569 Level 3a standard and includes aluminum elements, making the vehicle lighter while maintaining a high level of protection. The crew and troops have access to modern observation systems, including night vision cameras, providing a significant tactical advantage. The crew’s safety is enhanced by an automatic fire suppression system with optical sensors, an air filtration system for chemical threats, and a combined heating and cooling system. Additional equipment, such as a powerful 12-ton winch, further extends the vehicle's capabilities in combat conditions.

Thanks to its modularity, the Inguar-3 can be transformed to meet the needs of various units. It can be used as a 4x4 or 6x6 platform for placing air defense systems, electronic warfare systems, reconnaissance equipment, or medical supplies. This makes it a crucial tool in modern hybrid warfare, where operational adaptability is a key factor in success. The future development of the Inguar-3 includes further modernization and expansion of its module range. In the near future, new configurations and integration with artificial intelligence systems can be expected. The success of the Inguar-3 demonstrates that Ukraine is not only capable of resisting aggression but also of creating cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future of its armed forces.
