This coordinated wave of attacks across Ukraine continues to cause severe harm to civilians and critical infrastructure.
Kherson region faces continued shelling
In the Kherson region, Russian shelling over the past day caused the deaths of two people and wounded three more, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Multiple settlements were targeted, including Novodmytrivka, Ponyativka, Beryslav, Znamyanka, Stanislav, and many others across the region, as well as the city of Kherson itself.
The attacks damaged five multi-story residential buildings, six private houses, a gas station, a garage, and several private vehicles.
In a separate incident, a 56-year-old man in Kherson’s Dnipro district was injured in the morning when a Russian drone struck the area. He suffered mine-explosive and shrapnel wounds to his legs and chest and was hospitalized for further treatment.
Kharkiv region under fire
Kharkiv city and 13 nearby settlements were heavily shelled, leading to the deaths of two civilians and injuring eleven others, including children. Oleg Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that among the casualties was a child in the village of Odnorobivka, part of the Zolochiv community.
In Kharkiv city, a 46-year-old woman and a 2-year-old girl sustained injuries. The village of Odnorobivka saw the tragic death of an 8-year-old boy, with a 3-year-old boy, a 40-year-old man, and a 37-year-old woman also wounded. Other injuries were reported in Prykolotne, Kupiansk, and Shyroke villages, with one man killed in Kupiansk itself.
Synehubov detailed that the attacks included strikes from eight drones targeting Shevchenkivskyi and Novobavarskyi districts in Kharkiv, alongside 23 unguided aviation rockets, 4 KAB bombs, and 47 drones of various types across the region.
The shelling damaged 14 apartment buildings, a sports complex, a dental clinic, shops, a café, and multiple vehicles within Kharkiv. Nearby communities also faced destruction of homes, warehouses, vehicles, and public buildings, highlighting the widespread impact of the assault.
Over the course of the day, approximately 200 combat clashes were reported throughout the region.
Sumy region faces intense shelling
In the Sumy region, Russian forces shelled 31 settlements, heavily impacting private homes and civilian infrastructure. The Sumy Regional Military Administration noted that more than 90 attacks occurred over the past 24 hours, primarily concentrated in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
The assaults included over 20 drops of VOG grenades via UAVs, more than 30 strikes with GAB bombs, as well as attacks using FPV drones and missiles. Damage was recorded to residential houses and community facilities, especially in the Sumy and Seredyno-Buda communities. Three residents were evacuated from border areas during the day.
Donetsk region suffers casualties
In Donetsk, Russian shelling led to the deaths of three civilians and injured seven more, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration. The fatalities occurred in Andriivka, Novohryhorivka, and Myrnohrad.
Since the start of the invasion, the Donetsk region has seen 3,314 civilian deaths and 7,755 injuries, excluding casualties from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Zaporizhzhia hit by nighttime drone attacks
Zaporizhzhia experienced a nighttime drone attack resulting in damage to three apartment buildings and partial destruction of a private shoe manufacturing enterprise. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that from 1:23 to 1:50 a.m., six UAVs struck residential and agricultural sites.
The attacks damaged homes, farm structures, warehouses, and agricultural machinery. Photos released by local authorities show significant destruction, including damage to the “Mida” shoe factory.
Mykolaiv region
As a result of the Russian drone attack on Mykolaiv, there is one injured person.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, on Telegram.
"Mykolaiv. Emergency services have been called. Everyone is working," Kim informed.
According to him, currently, one injured person is known.
