Leaders of several countries have congratulated Vladimir Putin on his reelection to a fifth term as President of Russia.

Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, sent a congratulatory telegram to Vladimir Putin, as reported by the North Korean news agency CTAC. The message will be delivered to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the North Korean ambassador to Russia, Sin Hong-chol. The content of the message was not disclosed.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, congratulated Putin on his "convincing victory." According to Sherzod Asadov, the press secretary of the Uzbekistan president, Mirziyoyev's message highlighted the high voter turnout and the results of the election, which demonstrated the population's unwavering trust and support for Putin's political course and program of socio-economic reforms.

President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan sent a congratulatory telegram to Putin, stating that the election results were "another vivid confirmation of the high political authority and broad support by the Russian society of the state course aimed at ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the country and strengthening its international positions."

Daniel Ortega, the leader of Nicaragua, also congratulated Putin, referring to him as a "dear comrade, brother, and re-elected president." Ortega expressed his appreciation for Putin's victory in the elections, considering it a contribution to the necessary stability for humanity.

President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela posted a congratulatory message on the social media platform X, stating: "We embrace the entire Russian people and the 'United Russia' party."
