IT specialists at NIBULON, in collaboration with the IT-Enterprise team, have completed the relaunch and digitization of one of the most process-intensive projects — the quantitative and qualitative accounting of the elevator network.
This is reported by the company's press service.
The quantitative and qualitative accounting is a key process in the operation of elevator complexes, the efficiency of which determines the profitability of this segment. The optimization project for quantitative and qualitative accounting included the improvement of business processes for grain accounting and the implementation of additional processes for logistics management and cost calculation.
“The implementation of the new, effective version of the business process for quantitative and qualitative accounting allowed us to automate the tracking of grain movement, key indicators, and expenses for processing and transportation from the moment it enters the elevator to its shipment to the final consumer. This creates accurate cost calculation and, accordingly, profitability. Most importantly, we understand the impact that can be made at each stage to improve financial and service indicators,” says Mykola Ryasko, IT director at NIBULON.
The final goal of the project is to transition to a fully “digital elevator” model, where the operation and coordination of all processes are managed by digital systems. This concept is gradually being scaled across all 23 NIBULON elevator complexes.
“If we summarize the results of the digitization project for quantitative and qualitative accounting in three points, first, it’s the simplification and automation of business processes, speeding up their execution. Second, it’s the accuracy of accounting, ensuring the clarity and relevance of the company's financial condition. Third, it’s improved customer orientation, as the process of providing services has become faster and of better quality,” comments Mykola Ryasko.
Overall, the digitization project also contributed to the unification of accounting processes across all of the company’s branches and improved integration with equipment and third-party systems, ensuring effective business process management.
NIBULON notes that industry experience and approaches were crucial in this stage of cooperation, with IT-Enterprise, as the solution architect and process integrator, developing solutions tailored to the specifics of the agro-exporter’s activities.
