We are talking about the national holidays of Ukraine on August 23 and 24.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov warned of danger on August 23 and 24 - the Day of the State Flag and Independence Day of Ukraine.

He expressed his concerns about this on YouTube.

"The ground situation is unchanged, the air situation - yesterday a Su-34 aircraft, a front-line bomber, launched missile attacks on the infrastructure of the Zhytomyr region. That is, the threat that we constantly talk about, it manifested itself yesterday, and I assume it was a test step," Zhdanov said.

"Russia, most likely, is preparing for some kind of dirty trick against us on the eve of the upcoming holidays, Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine (August 23-24)," the expert added.

Earlier, Zhdanov warned that Russia could launch missile strikes on Kyiv in the nearest future:

“Missiles that will be launched from aircraft can reach Kyiv. Including from fighter aircraft, if they use air-to-ground missiles. Or, maybe, Tu-22M3s with Kh-22 missiles will fly in again. They reach almost up to the middle of Ukraine."
