Two new industrial parks have been approved by the Ukrainian government, expected to create approximately 1,250 new jobs. The parks, named Maryzhany and Dobrosyn Invest Park, are located in the Zhytomyr and Lviv regions, respectively.
The decision to include these parks in the Register of Industrial Parks was made on August 9, 2024.
Key Details:
-
Maryzhany Park: Situated in the Khoroshiv Territorial Community of the Zhytomyr Region, this park spans 30.2 hectares and will host manufacturing activities related to textiles, non-woven materials, construction materials, and scientific and technical activities. It is projected to create 750 jobs and attract nearly UAH 2 billion in investments.
-
Dobrosyn Invest Park: Located in the village of Dobrosyn in the Lviv Region, this park covers 14.6 hectares and will focus on light industry, including plastic and metal products, food production, woodworking, and other activities. It aims to generate up to 500 jobs and attract UAH 1.6 billion in investments.
Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, highlighted the importance of industrial parks in promoting investment in the real sector and increasing the share of manufacturing in the economy. He also mentioned the government’s role in partially covering infrastructure costs through the "State Support for Industrial Parks" program, which has recently seen participation from Ukrainian banks, including Oschadbank.
With these additions, the Register of Industrial Parks now includes 88 parks.
