Kherson region
In Kherson region, one person was killed and 11 were injured over the past 24 hours due to Russian aggression.
Antonivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Novovorontsovka, Monastyrske, Chervonyi Mayak, Mylove, Dudchany, Lviv, Vesele, Kozatske, and Kherson were under drone terror, airstrikes, and artillery shelling.
Damages include a multi-story building, two private houses, an outbuilding, ambulances, a private car, and a gas pipeline.
Also Russian forces attacked an ambulance with a drone in the Dnipro district of Kherson. The driver and the paramedic were injured.
Kharkiv region
Russian forces struck the residential area of Velykyi Burluk in Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, with drones, killing one man and injuring another, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
“Late in the evening of November 16, enemy attack drones struck the residential sector of Velykyi Burluk,” the statement reads.
According to preliminary data, one man was killed and another injured.
Chernihiv region
In Chernihiv region, a 54-year-old woman was injured and an agricultural enterprise was damaged as a result of Russian drone attacks. Two energy facilities were hit, leaving parts of several settlements without electricity.
“Over the past day alone, the Russians struck Chernihiv region 33 times, with 65 explosions. In the Koryukivka district, Men community, drones hit two energy infrastructure facilities. A fire broke out at one of them,” the statement reads.
Some settlements remain without power, and specialists are working to restore electricity to affected residents.
Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian forces attacked Pavlohrad and Nikopol districts in Dnipropetrovsk region overnight.
“During the night, the aggressor struck Yuriyivka community in Pavlohrad district with drones. A transport company was damaged. Nikopol district was also attacked – the district center, as well as Marganets and Pokrovska communities. They were targeted with FPV drones and artillery,” the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Vladyslav Haivanenko wrote.
It is noted that there were no casualties or injuries from the attacks.
Donetsk region
Over the past day, November 16, Russian forces killed one resident of Donetsk region. According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, the victim was killed in Osikove.
In Kostiantynivka, one person was injured.
The total number of Russian casualties in Donetsk region (3,734 killed and 8,454 injured) does not include Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Sumy region
Over the past day, Russian forces shelled Sumy region more than 100 times, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported.
“From the morning of November 16 to the morning of November 17, 2025, Russian troops carried out over 100 attacks on 39 settlements across 18 territorial communities of the region,” the statement reads.
The heaviest shelling was recorded in Sumy, Shostka, and Okhtyrka districts. The Russian forces actively used guided aerial bombs and drones, delivering nearly 20 strikes with GABs and 20 drone attacks.
As a result of the attacks:
- In Lebedyn community, a non-residential building was damaged;
- In Sadivska community, an outbuilding was damaged;
- In Mykolaivka rural community, private houses were damaged;
- In Sumy community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
- In Znob-Novhorod community, private houses and non-residential buildings were damaged;
- In Seredyno-Budska community, a private house, an apartment building, and a vehicle were damaged;
- In Boromlya community, a residential house and outbuildings were damaged.
