Russian forces prohibit doctors in the occupied part of Zaporizhia region from using social networks. Through such actions, they aim to prevent a massive leakage of information about the actual course of hostilities near Robotyne.
This was reported the Center for National Resistance.
"The occupiers are suffering significant losses on the Melitopol direction, attempting to advance near Robitne. As a result, civilian hospitals in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region are overwhelmed with Russian military personnel," the statement notes.
The CNR emphasizes that Russian special services fear the leakage of information about the current state of affairs, hence they are implementing a series of new restrictions.
This week, the civilian hospital staff received an order, signed by them, prohibiting the use of such services:
- YouTube
- VPN
Violations of these restrictions may lead to dismissal and holding the immediate supervisor accountable, as the Russian forces threaten.
Another reason for such a ban, according to the Center for Resistance, is the Russian goal to isolate the personnel as much as possible from an information space independent of the Russian forces.
"Occupation administrations see a significant threat to their existence in the absence of total control over which sources of information the population on this territory receives," the CNS emphasizes.
