Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström assured that military and political support for Ukraine from Stockholm will continue.
He made this statement on Twitter (X) after the annual national conference in Sweden, 'Society and Defense.'
"Military, political, and economic support for Ukraine from Sweden remains the main foreign policy task of the Swedish government for the coming years," said Billström.
During his speech at the conference, he emphasized that Russia will remain a serious threat to the security of Sweden and Europe in the foreseeable future, as reported by Dagens Nyheter.
"We must prepare for a long-term confrontation that will last as long as Russia violates the UN Charter and the European security order. Ukrainian soldiers are also fighting for our freedom and values," the minister noted.
