President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the leadership of the Swiss company Stadler Rail AG the implementation of infrastructure projects in Ukraine, in particular, the prospects for cooperation with the company in the modernization of the rolling stock of Ukrzaliznytsia and urban rail transport.
During a meeting with a delegation of a Swiss company headed by the co-owner of the Swiss group Peter Spuler, Zelensky noted the importance of attracting foreign technologies and capital for their implementation, and also said that Ukraine in 2020 built 4 thousand km of roads and almost 150 bridges transitions.
This year we have more ambitious plans - we want to increase this number by one and a half times. But we also add another priority area - airports and railways.

Zelensky said that the Ukrainian side is interested in the development of metro lines in Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnipro, as well as in the development of communication with the help of electric trains and high-speed trams in different cities. Moreover, the construction of an airport in Dnipro has begun and the Odessa airport his completing his second runway.
It is worth mentioning that Stadler already began testing the first electric train FLIRT EPM for the Belarusian railways.
