The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has started accepting applications from Swiss companies operating in Ukraine for reconstruction and recovery projects.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the announced competition will support projects by Swiss companies with a legal presence in Ukraine that meet the country's recovery and reconstruction needs.
The total budget for the competition is 50 million Swiss francs, with individual projects eligible for funding ranging from 1 to 15 million francs.
The competition is open from January 30 to February 28, 2025.

On January 23, 2025, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukraine and Switzerland signed a Memorandum of Understanding as part of efforts to engage the Swiss private sector in reconstruction and recovery projects.
Under the memorandum, SECO will allocate 50 million Swiss francs to support reconstruction projects in Ukraine. This funding is part of a broader support package totaling 1.5 billion Swiss francs within the 2025–2028 International Cooperation Strategy, which was approved by the Swiss Parliament on December 20, 2024.
