Jamala released a new song and music video thanking the countries together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Banda agency
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, creative agency Banda, and singer Jamala developed the "Thank you, Stranger" campaign, designed to express gratitude to Poland, Moldova, Romania and other neighboring countries for helping the Ukrainian people. A track and clip of the same name were released as part of the campaign.
In the video, the heroes recall moments from the beginning of the war, the journey abroad, the kindness and hospitality of foreigners, and life in new conditions. We see the soulful story of how complete strangers, strangers, became our second family, received us as if they were dear guests as if they were relatives.
"Today it is very important to say "thank you" to all foreigners who helped and are helping Ukrainians from the first days of the full-scale war. Our closest neighboring countries have opened their homes to millions of Ukrainian women and children as family, for which we will never tire of thanking them. I am sure that this assistance will strengthen the friendship between our countries for generations to come," â Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Also, as part of the campaign, everyone can thank friendly neighbors for their help. To do this, you need to fill out a form on Jamala's website, indicating your name and the contacts of those who helped you. Over the next two weeks, the singer will perform a fragment of "Thank you, Stranger" specifically for the addressee in Instagram Stories or send a postcard.
