The situation in Ukraine’s energy system following the recent massive Russian attacks, as well as urgent needs for rapid repairs and equipment reserve support, were discussed by Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk and the Greek Ambassador to Ukraine, Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

Among the priorities discussed was the accumulation of sufficient gas reserves. The parties also explored opportunities to further develop gas supply routes to Ukraine and other European countries, as well as strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and Greek energy companies. The ambassador confirmed that the Greek energy sector is highly interested in cooperating with Ukraine.

It was agreed to continue this dialogue, particularly through platforms such as the ReBuild Ukraine Construction & Energy International Exhibition in Warsaw and the upcoming P-TEC Forum in Athens.

“There are many details ahead that we need to work through together. However, I am confident that we will achieve good results in deepening our partnership for Ukraine’s energy resilience,” Hrynchuk emphasized.
