The International Court of Justice of the United Nations (UN) today, January 25, announced the date for the decision on Ukraine's lawsuit against Russia regarding violations of conventions on the prohibition of financing terrorism and overcoming forms of racial discrimination.
According to the UN Court's Twitter account, the court in The Hague (Netherlands) will deliver its decision on Wednesday, January 31, at 15:00 local time (16:00 Kyiv time).
The announcement indicates that it will be an open session during which Judge Joan E. Donoghue, the President of the Court, will read the decision.
"The International Court of Justice of the UN will deliver its decision on the merits of the case regarding the application of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Ukraine v. Russian Federation)," as stated in the release.
The session will be broadcast live.
