The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the use of the Gimli ground robotic system lineup in the Defense Forces.
According to the Main Directorate for the Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment, the Gimli robotic system is a versatile unmanned platform designed to perform a wide range of tasks in high-intensity combat conditions.
Depending on its configuration and mounted equipment, the system can be used for personnel evacuation, transportation of ammunition and supplies, and other logistical and support tasks. Additionally, the Gimli robotic system can be equipped with weaponry to function as a mobile combat module, engaging enemy targets.
The Gimli robots are compact, making them easy to transport. They are powered by a silent electric motor, with a fully charged battery providing several hours of continuous operation. They are capable of operating both day and night.
