The Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament approved the government's decision to extend military assistance to Ukraine throughout 2024.
This was reported by ANSA.
Out of 400 members of the lower house of parliament, 218 voted in favor of the decision.
It is noted that Italy has thus finally approved the government's decision to extend military aid to Kyiv until the end of 2024.
After the government's decree was approved in December, Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that Italy "has once again decided to stand on the side of freedom for countries and respect for international law in order to achieve, in accordance with the positions of NATO and EU allies, a fair and lasting peace."
