As part of his visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the most influential American entrepreneurs and leaders of the largest funds.
The meeting was organized with the support of the world's largest investment bank, JP Morgan. The total value of assets managed by the funds whose leaders participated in the event exceeds 30 trillion dollars.
In particular, the meeting was attended by Michael Bloomberg, the founder of Bloomberg LP; Bill Ackman, Chairman of Pershing Square Capital Fund; Barry Sternlicht, Chairman of Starwood Capital Fund; Ken Griffin, founder of Citadel LLC; Jonathan Gray, President of Blackstone investment company; Philipp Hildebrand, Deputy Chairman of BlackRock; Eric Schmidt, Chairman of the Schmidt Futures charitable organization; Robert Kraft, Chairman of the Kraft Group, and others.
The parties discussed the prospects of involving the largest American businesses in the reconstruction of Ukraine and the implementation of investment projects.
American entrepreneurs and financiers confirmed their readiness to make significant investments in Ukraine immediately after the end of the war and upon receiving security guarantees.
There was also a separate meeting between the President and Larry Fink, the Chairman of the world's largest asset management company, BlackRock
