President Volodymyr Zelensky received the credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of four countries to Ukraine: Greece – Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, Albania – Ernald Filo, Japan – Masashi Nakagome, and Egypt – Barakat Ali Elleyti. The President welcomed them to begin their diplomatic missions in Ukraine and expressed hope for strengthening cooperation between the countries.

During the meeting with the Greek Ambassador, Zelensky highlighted the high level of bilateral relations and thanked Greece for its defense support. He spoke about Ukraine's main military needs, especially in air defense, artillery, and armored vehicles, and emphasized the importance of Greece's involvement in recovery projects.

"We have very good relations between our countries. Cooperation between our nations is very important to us. I know that your colleagues visited Odesa with an initiative for recovery. Perhaps Greece can join other countries and take patronage of one of the regions," the President said.

In his conversation with the Albanian Ambassador, Zelensky noted the opening of the Albanian Embassy in Ukraine, which signifies the dynamic development of bilateral relations. He thanked the Albanian government and people for their constant support since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. He specifically emphasized the urgency of signing a bilateral security agreement as soon as possible.

"We had consultations about the bilateral security agreement. We hope that with your help, we can prepare the document for signing in the shortest time," Zelensky said.

During the meeting with the Japanese Ambassador, the President acknowledged Japan's support for Ukraine and the ongoing development of bilateral cooperation. He expressed readiness to further activate dialogue at all levels and discussed current security challenges for Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation with Japan in the security sphere, especially in information exchange and joint responses to North Korea’s military involvement in the war against Ukraine.

"Our countries have built strong positions. We signed an important and strong document on security guarantees. The current situation with North Korea and its military on the Russian side requires a response – we need Japan's support," said Zelensky.

In his conversation with the Egyptian Ambassador, the President noted Ukraine’s interest in intensifying bilateral dialogue, quickly restoring trade and economic cooperation, and implementing specific projects in the field of food security. He also emphasized Egypt's important role in promoting the Peace Formula, particularly joining the Joint Communiqué.

"I hope, Mr. Ambassador, that during your tenure, our relations with Egypt will grow stronger. We had good trade before the war, mostly agricultural products. Now we have defense initiatives and are ready to develop in this direction. We have the 'Grain from Ukraine' food security initiative, and we hope that Egypt will join this mission," Zelensky said.
