In the seventh month of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan refused to communicate in Russian.

TSN reports.

During a bilateral meeting between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, each leader spoke in their own language, completely eliminating the possibility of communicating in the language of the aggressor country.

Aliyev spoke Azerbaijani, Tokayev spoke Kazakh.

Recall that Putin, during a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, again could not pronounce his name. The President of the neighboring country in the mouth of Putin became Kasimzhan Kemelevich (the real name is Kassym-Jomart Tokayev). Subsequently, the President of Kazakhstan correctly called his Russian colleague "dear Vladimir Vladimirovich" and said that he was glad to see him in full health.
