In the area of responsibility of the Siversk operational-tactical group of troops, a significant decrease in Russian FPV drones and unmanned aerial vehicles is being recorded. However, Russian forces continue to use their entire available arsenal of weapons.
This was stated on air by the spokesperson of the Sivers, Vadym Mysnyk.
“We are recording a significant reduction in the enemy's use of FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, but they are still trying to use their entire available arsenal of weapons,” Mysnyk reported.
According to the spokesperson, this is primarily due to worsening weather conditions, as well as strikes by the Defense Forces deep into Russian territory.
“The enemy does not feel safe here. They have certain stockpiles in the territory of the Kursk region and are expanding the zone of active hostilities, attempting to enter our territory in small infantry groups. The Defense Forces are doing everything possible to eliminate the enemy and prevent them from advancing deeper,” he added.
Mysnyk also noted that the Russian forces are currently attempting to carry out combined attacks, using both ground-based and aerial means, in particular, drones of various systems and infantry.
“It is mostly infantry using some means of transport: quad bikes, motorcycles, because heavy military equipment cannot operate freely here — we identify and destroy it in a timely manner. So this is their tactic to implement their numerical advantage. They are trying to advance, accumulate, and somehow secure a position,” the spokesperson concluded.
