The Odessa Literary Museum (Lanzheronovskaya, 2) opened the second solo exhibition of the famous Odessa photographer Igor Lander "Thought in the Image".

Until October 5, it is possible to see Lander's 107 works, many of which were exhibited at prestigious exhibitions around the world: Argentina, United States, Hong Kong, Nepal, Norway, Scotland, Saudi Arabia and Australia. Almost all photographs were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals and honorary awards from international federations and, photo clubs.

Igor Lander graduated from the Odessa Institute of Marine Engineers, received a Ph.D. in Economics, and has taken up art photography seriously since 2009. Today, the author is a member of the Odessa Regional Organization of the National Society of Photo Artists of Ukraine (NSFHU), the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the American Photographic Society (PSA). Has photographic titles EPSA (Excellence PSA) and EFIAP (Excellence FIAP). Repeatedly, he became the winner and prize-winner of prestigious international photography contests and exhibitions, and awarded with medals and diplomas of FIAP, PSA, GPU, ISF. He was also member of the jury of international competitions. His photos were selected and exhibited in 80 countries of the world, many of them are kept in private collections in Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Russia, Israel, and the USA.

"Thought in the image" almost does not include reportage or genre photographs, the works presented on it encourage the viewer to reflect, penetrate into the author's concept and look for hidden meanings. And in the small hall there is Igor Lander's photo project "Allegories of Bygone Times" of several dozen still lifes that require the viewer to become familiar with the symbolism. For example, when you know that the carnation flower symbolizes the suffering of Christ, then you will see whole picture differently.
