Russia launched about a dozen missiles of various types and 14 'Shahed' drones over Ukraine overnight on February 18. Air defense forces shot down one enemy missile and 12 drones.
This information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
During this night, Russian forces launched six S-300 surface-to-air missiles (in Donetsk region), three Kh-22 cruise missiles (in Voronezh region), and one guided aviation missile Kh-59 (in Zaporizhzhia region). Additionally, Russians launched 14 attack drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk.
As a result of the military operation, 12 'Shahed' drones and one Kh-59 missile were shot down. Air defense systems were active in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare assets were deployed to repel the attack.
