Ukraine will receive 36 additional self-propelled tracked and wheeled howitzers with a caliber of 155 mm from Germany.
This was announced by the German government on its official website.
As part of the new package of German military aid totaling 1.13 billion euros, Ukraine will receive 18 PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery units and 18 modern RCH 155 units.
This military assistance will also include crew training, spare parts, and ammunition for the artillery systems.
The German government explained that in addition to the 14 tracked self-propelled howitzers PzH 2000 transferred to Ukraine in 2022, Germany will deliver another 18 of such self-propelled artillery units to Ukraine during 2026 and 2027, along with ammunition and spare parts.
Furthermore, in addition to the 18 wheeled self-propelled artillery systems RCH 155 previously ordered for Ukraine, the German government will deliver a second batch of 18 such new self-propelled artillery units from late 2025 to 2027.
