Ukrainian defense industry representative offices for arms sales will be opened not only in Europe but also in the United States and countries of the Global South.
This was announced during a meeting of National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov and Presidential Advisor on Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin with journalists, dedicated to Ukraine’s resumption of arms exports.
“Ukraine is opening its first defense industry offices in Berlin and Copenhagen. This is symbolic, as Germany and Denmark have invested the most in the development of Ukraine’s defense sector,” Kamyshin said.
The offices will serve as showcases for Ukrainian technologies — places where visitors can see how Ukrainian weapons operate and what makes the country a leader in drone innovation. They will function not only as showrooms but also as platforms for cooperation with governments, militaries, and businesses.
According to Kamyshin, each office will have three zones: an open area for demonstrations and the public, a closed area for military planners, and an office area for negotiations and contracts. The format combines public communication, technical dialogue, and business engagement.
Participants of the meeting noted that further offices are planned in the United States and countries of the Global South. The goal is to share Ukraine’s defense expertise with all regions of the world and establish it as a strategic brand.
The National Security and Defense Council said more details on the number and locations of these offices will be provided later.
