The Ukrainian Design Brands collective will showcase the latest collections from Ukrainian manufacturers at Maison et Objet, a prominent event in the design, decor, and lifestyle industry.
Taking place from January 18 to 22, 2024, Maison et Objet in Paris is a biannual event that attracts tens of thousands of global industry professionals.
This season’s theme, TECH EDEN, will enliven the January edition with reinvented feature spaces oriented toward the retail, residential, or hospitality industries. Places where nature will be very much on hand, not necessarily in a literal sense, but sometimes digitally speaking and, to varying degrees, mineral, lush, and hybrid.
For the sixth time, the Ukrainian Design Brands collective stand will operate during the exhibition, providing Ukrainian companies with the opportunity to showcase their products to an international audience with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Programme in Ukraine.
Over the past years, the project has attracted over fifty participating companies, including NOOM, Makhno Products, Yalanzhi Objects, Next Level Lighting, SleepOnnn, Conferma, DONNA Factory, DALI HOME, Woo, ZEGEN, LOFU, and many more.
The selection of participants for the Ukrainian stand will involve Elizabeth Lerich (France), a trendsetter, prominent scenographer, and curator, founder of Bureau de style ELIZABETH LERICHE; Jean-Paul Bat (France), director and founder of the creative industries and design development agency Le FRENCH DESIGN VIA; Anastasiia Biletska, international curator and creative director of Maino Design; Sana Moreau, international curator and founder of the first gallery of Ukrainian design in Paris – Galerie Sana Moreau; Konstantin Kovshevatsky, editor-in-chief of PRAGMATIKA magazine; Pia Seidel, design critic, and author of the Swiss platform GALAXUS (Switzerland).
The project is being implemented by the Civil Society "Reforms Support Fund in Ukraine" in collaboration with the company MAINO.
