The Ukrainian enterprise A3tech has obtained a compliance certificate for the lightweight demining machine DOK-ING MV-4, allowing the manufacturing company to move towards serial production. Additionally, in the near future, they plan to test the heavy demining machine MV-10 and then proceed to industrial manufacturing.

A3tech, which assembles and localizes Croatian DOK-ING machines, has increased its staff by 12% since the beginning of the year. Furthermore, the company has involved another plant in production, manufacturing components, according to the Ministry of Economy.

The enterprise plans to involve another company in production, as A3tech intends to test the heavy demining machine MV-10 in the field soon and, upon certification, move to serial production. There are already customers for machines of this type.

"Assembling and localizing the production of demining machines in Ukraine accelerates repairs or replacement of parts in case of field explosions. Moreover, it simplifies access to equipment for humanitarian demining operators, of which we already have nearly 40, and even more are undergoing certification," explains Deputy Minister of Economy Igor Bezkorovayny.

About MV-4:

This is a lightweight robotic demining and explosive ordnance disposal machine. Due to its low profile and sturdy construction, it is resistant to detonations of anti-personnel mines and unexploded ordnance. The MV-4 can withstand the explosion of an anti-tank mine.

The MV-4 is used for mechanical ground preparation and demining, mechanical terrain inspection and clearance, and object retrieval. It can demine an area of up to 1500 m² per hour. It is operated by remote control with a range of up to 1500 meters. There are currently 300 MV-4 systems in operation worldwide, and in Ukraine, it is operated by the State Emergency Service specialists.

In early April, the MV-4 underwent testing on three types of soil (sand, gravel, black soil) and on a plot with dense vegetation. The machine withstood a series of explosions of approximately 600 grams in TNT equivalent.
